Position Description

Status of Position:

100% Full-Time Regular

Salary Scale:

$26.38 to $35.22 hourly rate

Fringe Benefits:

 nATURE OF THE WORK

The Administration Technician is responsible for performing various technical tasks related to the management of international students as well as the development and implementation of standards and activities related to administrative operations of the international students’ program. In addition, as the administration technician you will be required to:

  • Process the accounting entries, transfers and reconciliations related to international students’ fees and commissions to agents;
  • Carry out technical analyses of accounts and prepares the necessary reports;
  • Collect, analyze and synthesize the data required for reports;
  • Work on the analysis of needs for placement of international students;
  • Advise students and the recruiting agent of required documents for the enrolment process;
  • Participate in the recruitment and placement process by verifying or determining the academic and professional qualifications of students based on standards, ensuring the authenticity of documents produced;
  • Support the recruiting agents;
  • Support the needs of the international students;
  • Support the schools in the placement of international students;
  • Provide information to school administrators when requested;
  • Provide support to the school organization team;
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of School Organization and School Affairs.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience working in an international students’ program.
  • Hold a Diploma of College Studies in Business Administration (3-year program) or related.
  • Have an excellent knowledge of Word and Excel. As a result, we require applicants to pass a test in Word and Excel with a passing grade of 60% before considering their application.
  • Have an excellent command of English and French both oral and written.
  • Have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
