SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS 2024-2025 (Student Teachers)
Position Description
Riverside School Board is seeking dedicated substitute teachers who are currently in their 3rd or 4th year of completing their Bachelor of Education. As a substitute teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning and providing support to our students during teacher absences.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor of Education program.
- OR a 1st or 2nd year student in a Bachelor of Education program AND currently completing an internship with Riverside School Board.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Flexibility and adaptability in various classroom settings.
Compensation:
- $51.46/hr (+4% vacation pay)
