Position Description

Status of Position:

Full-Time Replacement (35 hours per week)

Salary Scale:

$25.96 to $33.58 hourly rate

Fringe Benefits:

 nATURE OF THE WORK

The School Organization Technician is responsible, in conjunction with the administration, for preparing the school or centre timetable and other schedules, such as the exam schedule based on, among other things, rationalization and efficiency criteria. You will also have to adapt and apply the procedures required for the organization of administrative operations such as student registration, declaration of student enrolment, exams, certification of studies and summer courses scheduling. In addition, as the school organization technician you will be required to:

  • Collect the data required for student registration and course selection and enter this data on the forms that you devise and adapt for that purpose; once completed, ensure the return of these forms, make the necessary corrections and compile the statistics required for preparing a timetable.
  • Carry out technical analyses of accounts and prepare the necessary reports.
  • Collect, analyze and synthesize the data required for reports.
  • Prepare the teachers’ recall list.
  • Provide training and offer the required support in matters pertaining to the school organization procedures and the use of various software to the persons involved in these operations.
  • Manage student information and transmit this information to the Ministry for financing purposes.
  • Maintain student records for auditing purposes.
  • If need be, perform any other related duty

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Hold a diploma of College Studies in Business Administration (Management);
  • Have an excellent knowledge of French and English, spoken and written. As a result, we require applicants to pass a test with a grade of 80% in French and 60% in English before considering their application;
  • Have an excellent knowledge of Excel. As a result, we require applicants to pass a test in Excel with a grade of 80% before considering their application;
  • Have the ability to send e-mails with Outlook or Office 365;
  • Have at least three years of pertinent experience
