Position Description
NATURE OF THE WORK
We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Bus Attendant. As a Bus Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children during their transportation to and from our facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with children and a passion for early childhood education.
Responsibilities:
– Assist children in safely boarding and exiting the bus
– Ensure that all children are securely fastened in their seats
– Monitor children's behavior during the bus ride to maintain a safe and peaceful environment
– Communicate with the bus driver regarding any concerns or issues that arise
– Maintain cleanliness and orderliness on the bus at all times
– Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of the children

Requirements and Qualifications
- Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in Assistance in Health Care Facilities or a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority
- one (1) year of pertinent experience in those areas requiring self-discipline, general concepts in psychology and human relations skills.
- Hold a certificate dated no more than three (3) years attesting to the successful completion of:
- a standard first aid course of a minimum eight (8)-hour duration
- a refresher course of a minimum six (6)-hour duration updating the skills acquired in the course mentioned in subparagraph 1
