Secondary School Vice-Principal

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Principal and under the authority of the Director of Educational Services, the Vice-Principal will assist the Principal, in accordance with the mandate defined by the latter, in the management of one or more programs and resources of the school, and replacing the Principal when the latter is absent for short periods of time.
Qualifications Required
The ideal candidate is a talented, bilingual educator with post-graduate studies in an appropriate area of specialization. Candidates should have specific knowledge and skills related to school success planning, performance evaluation, school budgeting, collaborative decision-making, shared leadership, and community engagement. Must have Quebec teaching license.
Specific Requirements Include:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in education or an undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study certifying a minimum three-year university program or hold a senior executive or senior staff position in a school board for which an undergraduate degree is required under the minimum qualifications;
- Five years of relevant experience in a teaching or non-teaching professional position;
- A permanent teaching license issued by the Minister;
- Graduate studies, including a minimum of 30 credits in educational administration (candidates with a minimum of 6 credits completed will be considered).
- Quebec teaching license
