Working for the Eastern Townships School Board is like working with friends and family. We are a small board spread over a very large area, yet we still manage to collaborate, communicate effectively to grow together. I love my job because I work with wonderful people both in the schools and at the school board level. Everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission. We have a family environment where everybody is there for each other. Being a leader in a school, I am given the flexibility to be innovative and creative with my school team to better suit the students in my school, however whenever I need support with something, there is someone who can help me just a phone call away.

I love my job and I love the people that I work with. I can honestly say that almost every adult in the school has one thing in common; the best interest of the students at heart. So often I have thought to myself how lucky I am to be working here where people care, both about the students and about each other. Whether I have had problems of a personal nature or a professional one, I have always been able to count on the support of my colleagues. And teenagers aren’t so bad once you get to know them!

I want to say that ETSB listens and are open to any project you have in mind, they let you try it out and give you support all the way, this is mostly why I like working here!
