Collaborative and professional, this workplace is bilingual and a great force for education in Québec. I began as a supply teacher and was awarded contracts through professional excellence. It is a great work environment which puts kids first!

I was either in the office doing administrative work and coordinating projects or out in the community building relationships with local partners to support the projects I was implementing to support the community and school. I learned a lot in this position, not only how to develop an organization but work with diverse groups of people in the education, business and community sectors to respond to common needs. I learned needs assessments and evaluations for every program I implemented to help the school and the community. I learned to manage projects, meetings, volunteers, staff and students. I worked with government officials, staff in the education system and community members and coordinated to bring them together on a regular basis. Hardest part of the job was getting a lot done with limited funds. Most enjoyable seeing the impact and change that can be made when given the opportunity to make a difference.
